Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC is seeking an Audit Staff in the United States to engage with clients across industries and support audit teams. You will communicate with project in-charges, enhance your accounting skills, and contribute to the preparation of financial statements and workpapers.

The role emphasizes travel to client sites, potential overtime, and growth within a collaborative, values-driven firm environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
Masters preferred CPA certified or eligible to obtain CPA license.
GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred but not required.
Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day and occasional out-of-town travel.
Ability to work moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtime during certain cycles.

Responsibilities

Engage and serve clients from various industries.
Communicate with project in-charges and clients.
Develop technical accounting skills while performing audits of financial statements.
Prepare audit checklists and adjust journal entries.
Gain business writing experience while preparing financial statements alongside clients.
Prepare and organize workpapers for client files.
Perform other essential duties as needed.
