OnTrac is hiring an Area Manager in Dallas, TX to oversee a facility area with a focus on safety, efficiency, and performance. The role is onsite at the DeSoto facility and includes supervising a team of Package Handlers and Leads, scheduling and coordinating daily work, and driving continuous improvement within the operation.

The position requires 2+ years of industry experience with leadership, strong data analysis and MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate effectively to motivate

Competenze

• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience (logistics, shipping, 3PL) with at least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Ability to evaluate and summarize data and present answers clearly.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to provide constructive feedback.

Mansioni

• Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area to ensure quality standards while maintaining safety and efficiency.
• Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback, identify areas for improvement, and address performance/attendance.
• Conduct pre-sort meetings, communicate daily goals and safety priorities, and maintain open lines of communication with staff.
• Record and manage departures/arrivals and flow of volume from designated Linehauls.
• Execute administrative duties including safety training, operational audits, and end-of-shift reporting.
