State of Michigan's Dairy, Feed, and Produce Division seeks a Dairy Regional Supervisor (Food and Dairy Industry Manager 14) to lead field inspectors and specialists across Michigan. This field-based role requires strong leadership, policy development, and program administration to ensure safe dairy products and compliance with dairy laws.

The incumbent will train staff, manage workloads, investigate complaints, and coordinate licensing with state and federal agencies.

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor's degree in animal science, biology, chemistry, environmental health, food science/technology, microbiology, or related field.
• Five years of professional food and dairy industry experience equivalent to the specified levels.
• Experience coordinating with state, local, and federal agencies.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of dairy inspectors and staff.
• Provide subject matter guidance and staff training.
• Develop programs, policies, and workflow management.
• Investigate complaints, sample products, and enforce dairy laws.
• Coordinate licensing activities and agency collaboration.
