Job summary

The Wastewater Supervisor at Michigan Milk Producers Association in Constantine, Michigan, leads daily operation of the wastewater treatment system, ensures environmental permits are met, and uplifts performance through coaching and process controls.

You will partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and Environmental teams to drive reliability, manage records and reporting, support training and certification, and participate in capital projects and emergency response.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial wastewater treatment experience.
• Experience in supervisory, leadership, or team development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation and monitoring of the wastewater system.
• Ensure permits and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records, sampling, testing, and reporting.
• Supervise and develop wastewater operators.
• Support operator training and certification.
• Monitor system performance and identify improvements.
• Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations and Environmental teams.
• Participate in capital projects and equipment upgrades.
• Respond to operational upsets, environmental incidents and on-call rotations.
