Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Research & Development Intern to join our dairy science team in Minnesota.

You will research, design, and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment across Saputo plants, and sample milk, whey, and cheese products to ensure they meet customer, government, and Saputo specifications. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Dairy Technology, and are proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting using Word

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Food Science, Microbiology, Dairy Technology or related).
• Proficient in data collection, analysis and reporting using MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Able to interpret technical information in mathematical or narrative form.

Responsabilités

• Research, design, and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes and equipment in the plants.
• Sample milk, whey and cheese products to ensure compliance with specs.
• Set up, operate, maintain and calibrate lab equipment daily.
• Monitor quality and provide technical support to designated plants in the U.S.
