Saputo, Inc. in White Bear Lake, MN is seeking a Research & Development Intern to research, design, and evaluate dairy materials, assemblies, and processes within our plants, sampling milk, whey, and cheese to ensure compliance with government, customer, and Saputo specs.

You will perform lab tests, maintain equipment, analyze results, report data, and provide technical support to U.S. plants. Travel up to 50% and flexible hours are expected; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Dairy Technology, or related field.
• Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting with MS Word/Excel.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work flexible hours.
• Excellent writing and professional communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform microbiological, analytical, and organoleptic analysis of dairy products.
• Prepare samples and conduct moisture, pH, fat, salt, and other tests.
• Set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment daily.
• Provide technical support to designated plants in the U.S.
• Coordinate product development activities at plants.
