Job summary

Agri-Mark/Cabot Creamery is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to support food safety and quality programs. You will oversee lab operations, audits, certification activities, and documentation while partnering with production teams to uphold the highest product quality standards.

The role requires a degree in a related field and experience in QA, food safety, or lab operations, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field preferred.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Laboratory Operations, or Food Manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly plant GMP inspections, quarterly glass and brittle plastic inspections, and other internal auditing tasks as assigned by the QA Manager.
• Oversee laboratory testing of manufactured products and plant samples to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain complete records of testing activities and report out-of-spec results to management.
• Plan and execute environmental testing programs and allocate resources.
• Perform data review, trending, and report generation to support quality initiatives.
• Participate in SQF, FDA, USDA, and State inspections and audits; back up SQF Practitioner.
• Manage external pest control contractors and monitor program effectiveness.
• Assist with the Hold/Release Program and mock recalls.
• Complete multiple projects while performing laboratory duties and provide production support.
• Develop, implement, and revise SOPs; maintain documentation for products and quality systems.
• Drive ongoing quality improvement with cross-functional teams.
