Job summary

Agri-Mark/Cabot Creamery in Cabot, Arkansas is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead our food safety and quality programs, reporting to the QA Manager. You will oversee lab operations, audits, and documentation while collaborating with production to uphold top-quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Laboratory Operations, or Food Manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, food safety programs, and quality systems.
• Experience with data gathering, trend analysis, and report generation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly plant GMP inspections, quarterly glass and brittle plastic inspections, and other internal auditing tasks as assigned by the QA Manager.
• Oversee laboratory testing of manufactured products and plant samples in a timely and accurate manner to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of all testing activities and report any results that do not meet quality standards to management.
• Manage environmental testing programs and allocate resources accordingly.
• Conduct data review, trending, and report generation to support Food Quality and Food Safety initiatives.
• Participate in annual SQF, FDA, USDA, and State inspections and audits; serve as backup SQF Practitioner.
• Manage external pest control contractors and monitor program effectiveness.
• Assist with the Hold/Release Program and mock recall exercises.
• Develop, implement, and revise SOPs; maintain documentation requirements for products and quality systems.
• Drive ongoing quality improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.
