You will work with the quality manager to build a strong food-safety culture and mentor staff. Responsibilities include developing quality programs, reviewing records, coordinating testing improvements, and supporting audits and certifications.

Qualifikationen

• Undergraduate degree in food science, biological sciences, or related curriculum.
• 2–5 years of QA, manufacturing, or related experience in food/beverage.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• PCQI, HACCP, SQF Practitioner certifications preferred; may be required.

Aufgaben

• Provide direction and supervision to QA and lab staff to meet high standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality programs.
• Review records, CCP, PC and other QA documentation for compliance.
• Lead continuous improvement and support audits by customers/regulators.
• Coach and mentor team members and manage performance development.
• Ensure GMPs and regulatory standards are followed across the facility.
• Oversee PEM program, sampling, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate lab procurement and testing procedure enhancements.
• Support certifications (SQF, Kosher, Halal, Organic) maintenance.
• Travel 5%-15% as needed (1–3 times per year).
