Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2-3 years in a food lab environment.
• Knowledge of GLP's and microbiology preferred.
• Strong safety and CI mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products (e.g., SPC, PI, TPC, Coliform, Yeast/Mold).
• Ensure antibiotic testing of all incoming raw milk.
• Conduct sensory evaluation during and after shelf-life.
• Monitor air and water quality; swab environmental pathogens.
• Maintain SQF documentation and inventory of lab supplies.
