Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking candidates for a production role focused on maintaining product quality and process accuracy at our facility. Responsibilities include data entry, machine setup, chemical concentration checks, and aseptic sampling to ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to read instructions. You will work under GMPs and SOPs, with opportunities for growth within Saputo's inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand instructions
• Proficient in use of the computer
• Must have a solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
• Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices
• Compliance with food safety policies
• Follow GMPs and SOPs
• Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment; regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product
• Complete appropriate data entry/PLC machine set up
• Maintain 701 washer and chemical concentration
• Conduct aseptic cheese sampling
• Operate natamycin bath and maintain concentration
• Operate punch machine and metal detector
• Must be able to appropriately handle and use cleaning chemicals
• Monitor and complete punch machine needle checks
• Complete all documentation per production requirements
• Perform all sanitation and preops
