Job summary

PMF Brands (Nanak Foods) seeks a Food Processing Technician – Dairy Production in Bellingham, WA to operate and monitor dairy processing equipment with a focus on instrumentation and HMI systems.

You will perform adjustments, calibrations, and real-time quality checks while adhering to GMP, food safety, and OSHA standards. This role requires 1–2 years in food manufacturing and HTST license eligibility.

Qualifications

• Fluent in HMI systems and automated control interfaces.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation and process automation.
• Technical diploma or equivalent in industrial automation or food processing.
• 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing or similar environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in hot/cold environments.
• HTST license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment using HMI systems and automated controls.
• Perform operational adjustments and troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation issues.
• Calibrate and verify instrumentation (sensors, valves, temperature/flow devices).
• Monitor process parameters and product quality; make real-time adjustments.
• Ensure safety systems and interlocks are functioning correctly.
• Maintain accurate production and troubleshooting logs.
• Follow GMP, food safety, and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
