Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a production technician to safely operate and monitor dairy processing equipment. You will unload milk, run the dryer/evaporator, perform QC tests, and maintain logs to ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and a strong commitment to safety and sanitation. Training on GMP, HACCP, SQF, and Safety is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License - None.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Perform all master sanitation duties.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the production areas.
• Receive milk and start, run, shut down, and clean the dryer/evaporator and related equipment.
• Perform required lab and quality checks.
• Accurately maintain required logs.
• Perform all chemical tests.
• Complete and store documents per 5S standards.
• Achieve production goals (KPIs).
• Document processes and participate in continuous improvement.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
