Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery and plant utility systems by performing preventive maintenance.
• Locates sources of problems by observing equipment in operation and using measuring instruments.
• Removes defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand tools for inspection.
• Maintains inventories by checking stock and expediting orders for parts and supplies.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Communicates downtime to production workers and documents actions and needs.
• Keeps maintenance logs and prepares reports on maintenance activities.
• Promotes strong safety practices and supports continuous improvement.
