Job summary

Agropur, inc. in Jerome, Idaho is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance, facilities, utilities, and equipment including automation, collaborating with Engineering on plant projects. You will set goals and strategies for the maintenance department and drive safe, cost-effective performance across the operation.

Lead and mentor maintenance, automation, and project teams, manage CMMS, and ensure uninterrupted production while pursuing energy efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years maintenance experience in food production.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
• Minimum 5 years of food processing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the dairy plant and plant automation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance functions within the manufacturing environment including process and automation improvements.
• Drive projects with the support of Engineering.
• Implement and manage the plant maintenance program with emphasis on planning and preventive maintenance.
• Analyze processes and systems, recommend improvements, and implement changes.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive performance enhancements.
• Mentor maintenance, automation, and project teams.
• Collaborate with plumbing, electrical, and utilities teams to support plant facilities.
• Maintain and optimize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Prepare reports and data-driven recommendations to improve operations.
