Job summary

Darigold is seeking an experienced Operations Technology and Automation Engineer to join our Manufacturing Operations team. The Electrical and Controls Engineer will create and implement solutions to improve performance, support capability, and maintain technology systems in our dairy facilities.

The role focuses on Rockwell PLC/HMI, electrical design and industrial network architecture, with leadership in standards and cross-functional collaboration to deliver safe, high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 5+ years in systems integration and process control.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills with electrical and controls systems.
• Experience with PLC/HMI solutions (Allen Bradley/FactoryTalk) and hardware/software specification.

Responsibilities

• Acts as technical resource to plants and engineering to deliver controls automation solutions.
• Supports Rockwell PLC/HMI, electrical design, Windows PCs, VM’s and industrial networks.
• Leads electrical and control standards adoption across the enterprise.
• Provides technical support to ensure safety-first operations and high-quality output.
• Leads root cause analysis to resolve issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
• Governs network implementation, PLCs, HMI, field devices and control networks.
• Collaborates with Engineering, IT, Operations and vendor resources.
• Maintains enterprise systems supporting EHS, OEE, KPI, and analytics.
