Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking an experienced engineering professional to provide technical leadership on process controls, electrical design, and maintenance for a manufacturing location. You will develop specifications, manage projects, and coordinate with vendors to optimize process efficiency.

The role requires a strong background in HMI, PLC programming, Rockwell systems, and regulatory compliance, with 5–8 years in dairy or food manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering (preferably electrical) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 to 8 years of multi-disciplinary technical experience in food industry (preferably dairy).
• Experience with HMI and ControlLogix Programming, one-line and electrical schematic design.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant leadership with technical expertise on controls, electrical design, and maintenance matters.
• Develop and maintain process controls and electrical engineering specifications and parameters.
• Manage multiple projects, vendors, and contractors for engineering plans implementations.
• Maintain capital budget and equipment schedules aligned with plant objectives.
• Communicate project priorities, timetables, and budgets with DFA personnel.
