Job summary

Chobani in Twin Falls, Idaho is seeking Maintenance Technicians responsible for timely repair and preventive maintenance of dairy plant equipment including filling machines, metal detectors, case erectors, packers, sealers, pasteurizers, motors and pumps.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns, follow GMPs, EHS standards, and work with CMMS/EAM systems, often on shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical/electrical breakdowns in manufacturing equipment.
• Read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Follows all safety, GMP, FSQ and environmental standards in a plant.
• Works with CMMS/EAM systems and standard work orders.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues rapidly with minimal direction and ambiguity.
• Interact with plant personnel at all levels with clear communication.
• Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Provide guidance to operations personnel and improve efficiencies.
• Identify root causes and follow standard work orders to completion.
• Follow EHS and FS&Q policies and maintain safe practices.
