Job summary

Chobani in Twin Falls, ID is seeking Maintenance Technicians to repair and perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment including filling machines, metal detectors, conveyors, and pasteurizers. Candidates must troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns in a dairy manufacturing setting and follow safety, GMP, and regulatory standards.

This full-time role requires 2–5 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and technical certification; ability to read schematics; CMMS/EAM

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 2–5 years in food production/manufacturing equipment repair.
• Experience reading mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to work with CMMS/EAM systems and basic precision tools.
• Knowledge of safety, GMP, OSHA and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Interact with plant personnel, communicate clearly, and support operations.
• Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Provide guidance and assist operations to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Follow standard work orders; ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Read and interpret drawings; maintain tool and equipment readiness.
• Adhere to FSQ policies and report issues promptly.
• Utilize CMMS/EAM to manage work orders and track maintenance.
• Stay physically capable to lift up to 60 pounds and stand long hours.
