Agri-Mark/Cabot Creamery Cooperative is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift in Cabot, VT. You will perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and process equipment repairs to keep dairy operations safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage priorities with high accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Complete work orders with quality and detail.
• Inspect equipment during shifts to prevent failures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and process equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime.
• Communicate issues to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain professional relationships with coworkers and contractors.
• Participate in required training and training programs.
• Build knowledge of boiler operation and repairs.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders and inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
• Follow GMP, safety, and environmental requirements.
