Job summary

Actus Nutrition seeks a Site Director to lead the assigned facility's operations, including production, quality, safety, and customer service. You will align manufacturing plans with budgeted goals and drive continuous improvement across teams.

The role requires a strong background in dairy processing, 10+ years of management, and proven ability to manage complex operations, cost control, and regulatory compliance in a food-grade environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years management in a food-grade operation.
• Background in a dairy processing facility.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of plant operation procedures and business software.
• Analytical thinker with strong organizational skills.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Lactose, filtration and spray drying experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop key manufacturing plans to meet budgeted unit cost and output.
• Coordinate activities across production to achieve plant goals and quality specs.
• Sustain capacity in line with sales, minimize inventory where possible.
• Develop and manage annual operating budget and track performance.
• Stay current on production methods, formulations, and federal regulations.
• Maintain assets and execute capital improvement programs.
• Recruit, coach and lead personnel; foster a team-based environment.
• Implement safety and regulatory programs for long-term safe operation.
• Maintain quality specs for incoming materials and supplier relationships.
• Oversee inventory control, production log data and OEE initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal food-grade manufacturing requirements.
