Qualifications

• 10+ years of management experience in a food-grade operation.
• Background in a dairy processing facility.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of plant operation procedures and business system software applications.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Lactose, Filtration and Spray Drying experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop key manufacturing plans and programs toward budgeted unit cost and output objectives.
• Coordinate activities of all manufacturing areas to meet plant goals and quality requirements.
• Sustain production capacity aligned with sales, minimize inventory levels.
• Develop and track annual operating budget.
• Stay current on production methods, formulations, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain plant assets and implement capital improvements to improve efficiency.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and lead personnel with a focus on safety and quality.
• Implement and manage safety and regulatory programs for long-term safe operation.
• Ensure quality specs for incoming raw materials and monitor supplier materials.
