Job summary

Alta Dena Dairy seeks a Pasteurizer-Relief to operate and maintain pasteurizer equipment in a dairy production setting. Responsibilities include monitoring quality, following SOPs, and ensuring accurate documentation while supporting safety and cleanliness standards.

The role offers competitive pay based on experience (up to $38.65) with a .50 shift differential for night hours, plus vacation, holidays, sick days and a 401K plan. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally including overhead.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks).

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain pasteurizer and related equipment within a dairy production environment.
• Monitor quality, food safety and product specifications.
• Follow SOPs for batching and processing products.
• Prepare and maintain area paperwork accurately.
• Analyze process data and equipment performance to improve quality and throughput.
