Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience in food/beverage or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to read and follow SOPs and maintain accurate records.
• Must pass pre-employment screens.

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain pasteurizer and related equipment.
• Monitor quality, food safety and product specifications.
• Follow SOPs for batching and processing.
• Prepare and maintain all area paperwork.
• Monitor fats, total solids, allergen, cryoscope and related items.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
• Verify charts and temperatures (frequency pen, cut in/out).
• Maintain sanitation of equipment (CIP and hand cleaning).
• Operate equipment at recommended speeds and communicate issues.
• Maximize throughput while minimizing downtime.
• Notify management of problems impacting efficiency.
• Complete all required information in documentation.
• Follow G.M.P. and safety practices.
