Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. in Wilbraham, MA is seeking a dedicated pasteurizer operator to ensure pasteurization meets safety and quality standards. You will follow GMPs, handle samples, wash equipment, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced dairy facility.

The role requires teamwork, ability to follow directions, basic math, and good written and spoken English. High school diploma preferred; production or related experience is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate pasteurizer in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Obtain milk and cream samples for testing by lab to include raw and processed product
• Wash and sanitize milk silos, cream tanks, and any other equipment as needed
• Produce product according to guidelines and separate into correct batches
• Follow recipe guidelines for all products produced.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
