Balchem Corporation is seeking a South Dakota/Iowa Territory Sales Representative - Dairy. The role requires residency in Iowa, South Dakota, or Minneapolis.

You will execute the sales strategy, grow current customers, and develop prospects to become strategic partners for growth. Essential functions include identifying prospects, presenting Balchem product value, and developing sales forecasts, with travel to industry events and rigorous administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Degree in agriculture related field (preferably dairy or animal science).
• Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience with customer growth.
• Strong business acumen and strategic account planning.
• Motivated self-starter with good work ethic.
• Interest in dairy agriculture and dairy selling.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospects for animal nutrition and health products and channel partners.
• Utilize value-added selling to move prospects toward closure.
• Explain Balchem product value propositions to key decision makers.
• Present technical product information to large producers.
• Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction; provide feedback.
• Stay current with the dairy industry and trends.
• Develop sales forecasts to support production planning.
• Represent products at trade shows, seminars, conferences.
• Complete administrative duties (expense reporting, call reports, etc.).
• Adhere to safety policies and use PPE where required.
• Perform other duties to enable business growth.
