Job summary

Gossner Foods, Inc. in Logan, UT is seeking a Mixing Operator to operate equipment in the Mixing Department, batch and standardize products, and maintain thorough production documentation. The role emphasizes food safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced dairy setting.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work well with a team. Training is provided, with shift from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM on weekdays and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Dependable with consistent attendance.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Able to perform manufacturing duties.
• Must complete pre-employment background check, drug screening, and fitness testing.
• Job-specific training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all equipment within the Mixing Department.
• Prepare, batch, and standardize products according to production specifications.
• Accurately complete required production, batching, and quality documentation.
• Perform manual equipment cleaning and automated Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures.
• Obtain raw milk samples for quality testing.
• Weigh and prepare ingredients for batches under supervision.
• Monitor equipment and product conditions and report abnormalities or concerns.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with training new employees on Mixing Department procedures and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist other team members as needed to support production.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
