Borden Dairy Company is seeking a laboratory professional to support quality control in our dairy processing facilities in the United States. You will perform microbiological, chemical, physical and sensory analyses, and decide on hold/release of products based on results.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with a bachelor’s in food science preferred, plus laboratory experience and the ability to work overtime and varied shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s in Food Science preferred.
• Laboratory experience required.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read, write and record data in English.
• Proficient in following SOPs and safety protocols.
• Willing to work overtime and varied shifts.
• Capable of working independently or in teams.

Aufgaben

• Conduct microbiological, chemical, physical and sensory analyses of dairy products.
• Hold, release, or reject finished goods based on results.
• Verify product compliance with specifications and report deviations.
• Perform in-plant checks: weights, temperatures, ingredients, appearance, code dates, pH, and metal detection.
• Calibrate and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on lab equipment.
• Conduct daily evaluations of finished products.
• Perform environmental testing to ensure sanitary conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all laboratory tests and procedures.
• Ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe laboratory environment.
