Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a lab technician to join the QA/mol group in our California facility. You will perform sterile sampling, plating, and microbiology tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety and product quality.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with limited supervision are required. Responsibilities include operating lab equipment, maintaining aseptic technique, and documenting results.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects safely.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Aseptic technique and microbiology sampling required.
• Read, interpret and document microbiology results.
• Communication with team and supervisors.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiology plating and sample preparation.
• Maintain aseptic lab conditions and safety standards.
• Operate listed laboratory instruments and learn new procedures.
• Contribute to food safety and quality assurance.
• Accurately perform SAP system functions as needed.
