Pinion is seeking a Commodity Risk Management Consultant to help producers navigate volatile markets and build expertise in risk management, market analytics, and client advisory.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge or exposure to grain, livestock, or dairy markets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented mindset with willingness to learn commodity markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk management strategies using futures, options, crop insurance, and cash market tools.
• Support trading of physical grain, feed, and other commodities; manage cash contracts, logistics, and procurement.
• Analyze commodity market data to generate insights for client presentations.
• Attend on-farm or client site visits to build trust and relationships.
• Learn client relationship management and risk advisory methods with senior consultants.
• Attend industry events and trainings to grow network and expertise.
