Sprouts Farmers Market in New Jersey is seeking a Dairy Clerk to keep all store dairy and frozen cases stocked and clean during business hours, while assisting customers with a friendly, energetic demeanor.

This role requires adherence to dairy department guidelines and flexibility with schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You’ll be part of a team focused on safety, accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.

• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Requires lifting 40–60 lbs. and moving boxes up to 10 feet.
• Able to walk up to 5 miles in an 8-hour shift.
• Must use a 2-step stool to access shelves.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness of dairy cases, storage area, and work area for safety.
• Stocks dairy cases, including presentation, facing, filling, and price accuracy.
• Rotates dairy products and discards expired stock.
• Assists customers with purchases, information, and product selection.
• Receives, inspects, and logs shipments for temperature and quality.
• Monitors point-of-purchase signs and promotional materials.
• Operates equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, pallet jacks.
• Weighs and labels products using scales and weight measures.
• Maintains product knowledge and department appearance.
• Walks department to ensure organized, sanitary appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.
