Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Dairy Clerk to keep dairy and frozen cases stocked and clean while assisting customers with a friendly, energetic demeanor. You will follow department guidelines and ensure accurate pricing and product rotation.

This role requires lifting up to 60 lbs, standing and walking long shifts, and using equipment such as scales and pallet jacks. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential for daily store operations and promotions.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable with flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate respectful, inclusive conduct and strong customer interaction skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Communicate clearly and work well in a team.
• Ability to lift 40–60 lbs. and walk substantial distances as part of shift.

Responsibilities

• Keep dairy cases, storage, and work areas clean and safe during business hours.
• Stock and present dairy products with accuracy and pricing.
• Rotate stock and discard expired items.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection.
• Log and inspect shipments for quality and temperature.
• Monitor signage, coupons, and promotional materials.
• Operate dairy equipment and weigh/label products as needed.
• Maintain organized, sanitary department appearance and participate in broader tasks.
