Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Dairy Clerk to stock and maintain dairy and frozen cases, assist customers, and uphold a high standard of cleanliness during shifts. The role requires safety awareness, physical stamina, and good teamwork in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Respect others and uphold Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Be able to interact with customers in a positive way.
• Have good communication skills and able to take direction in a team.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Lift and move boxes weighing 40–60 lbs. for up to 10 feet, with/without assistance.
• Able to walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift.
• Must use a step stool to access shelves periodically.
• Able to walk up to 3 miles per shift and comply with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Keep dairy cases, storage and work areas clean and safe.
• Stock and face dairy products with accurate pricing and labeling.
• Rotate stock, discard expired items and monitor freshness.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection; upsell when appropriate.
• Receive, inspect and log product shipments for temperature and quality.
• Monitor signage and promotional materials in the dairy area.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and scales; weigh and label products.
• Maintain product knowledge and department cleanliness; ensure organized appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
