Job summary

Harris Teeter is hiring for a Full Time Dairy Frozen Management Assistant in Gainesville, VA area. You will assist to manage and supervise up to 10 associates in the Dairy/Frozen Department and support the Department Manager with coordination and evaluation.

Responsibilities include training, interviewing, planning, stocking, customer service, and enforcing standards. Candidates should be at least 18, with a HS diploma or GED and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read, write and present information in English.
• Ability to perform basic math using dollars and weights.
• Willingness to participate in required training and teamwork.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 10 associates in the Dairy/Frozen Department.
• Assist the Department Manager with direction, coordination, and evaluation.
• Perform as floor monitor; interview and train associates; plan, assign and direct work.
• Assist in appraising performance; reward and discipline associates; address complaints.
