Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Dairy/Frozen Management Assistant in Fairfax, VA to assist the Department Manager with direction and supervision of the Dairy/Frozen department. You will oversee up to 10 associates, help interview/train staff, and ensure execution of stocking, customer service and department standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Associates must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong English language skills.
• Ability to read, write and present information in English.
• Ability to use HT Internet software, Email, Inventory software, Spreadsheet and Word Processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 10 associates in Dairy/Frozen Department.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities per Harris Teeter policies.
• Perform floor monitor duties and assist in training associates.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward or discipline.
• Provide customer service and stocking, cleaning, unloading and reloading as needed.
