Harris Teeter in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Full Time Dairy Frozen Management Assistant to help supervise up to 10 associates and assist the Department Manager with direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department.

Responsibilities include stocking per Dairy/Frozen standards, training new hires, handling customer service, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced retail environment. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to read/write in English.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
1–3 months related experience or training
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos in English
Ability to write simple correspondence in English
Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

Assist to manage and supervise up to 10 associates in the Dairy/Frozen Department.
Assist the Department Manager with direction, coordination and evaluation of the department.
Perform floor monitoring, interviewing and training of associates; plan and direct work; appraise performance and address issues.
Stock products in line with Dairy/Frozen standards and maintain clean stores and work areas.
