Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Dairy/Frozen Management Assistant to help supervise the Dairy/Frozen Department and support the Department Manager with direction, coordination, and evaluation. The role includes interviewing and training associates, planning and directing work, and ensuring standards are met.

The position requires at least 18 years of age, a high school diploma or GED, and strong customer service and team collaboration.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
1–3 months related experience and/or training is acceptable.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to supervise and train associates.

Responsibilities

Assist to manage and supervise up to 10 associates in the Dairy/Frozen Department.
Support Department Manager with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department.
Perform supervisory tasks such as floor monitoring, interviewing, and training associates.
Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline associates.
Process/stock products according to Dairy/Frozen standards; clean work areas; provide customer service; unload stock; and reload salvage.
Work with basic computer systems and inventory tools as described in the posting.
