Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain the dairy and freezer sections, stocking, rotating and ensuring product integrity while supporting merchandising and inventory control. You’ll follow food safety standards, assist with seasonal merchandising, and keep the department organized to deliver a reliable member experience; weekly pay and benefits support your work.

Eligibility includes 1+ year in dairy, freezer, grocery or retail operations, with basic computer skills

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock dairy and freezer products according to planograms to maintain visual standards and a consistent member experience.
• Maintain cold chain and in-stock accuracy; replenish low items to ensure freshness and availability.
• Rotate products using FIFO to reduce waste and maintain quality.
• Ensure accurate signage and pricing to avoid member confusion and support smooth checkout operations.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards; clean coolers, freezers, and shelving as required.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance to support club operations.
