Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to help maintain the dairy and freezer sections with accurate stocking, rotation, and product integrity. You will support merchandising, inventory control, and food safety standards, delivering excellent service to Members in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining stock, monitoring cold chain, checking dates, and assisting with seasonal merchandising while upholding club standards and daily operating goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email) preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dairy and freezer sections, stock according to planograms, and ensure product integrity.
• Support cold chain by monitoring temperatures and replenishing items.
• Perform FIFO rotation to minimize waste and ensure product quality.
• Conduct quality and date checks, remove items past expiration or damaged.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards and clean equipment and shelving.
• Assist with seasonal merchandising and daily club operations.
• Maintain regular attendance to support club performance.
