Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain dairy and freezer sections, stock products, rotate stock, and ensure quality while supporting merchandising, inventory, and food-safety standards. The role supports a perishables team with a focus on delivering excellent service to Members.

Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 6am–12pm. Qualifications include 1+ year in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations, knowledge of cold chain and food safety, strong attention

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email) preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dairy and freezer stock according to planograms to ensure freshness and availability.
• Monitor temperature control and replenish items to support cold chain integrity.
• Apply FIFO rotation to reduce waste and maintain product quality.
• Ensure signage and pricing are accurate to avoid member confusion.
• Support seasonal merchandising and maintain overall department standards.
• Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance.
