Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain dairy and freezer sections, manage stock, and support merchandising and inventory control while upholding food safety standards. You will contribute to an organized, efficient department and excellent member service.

The role emphasizes proper stocking, adherence to planograms, and collaboration with the team to ensure high-quality perishables and a premium member experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dairy and freezer stock according to planograms to ensure visual standards and consistent member experience.
• Monitor cold chain and replenish low or missing items to maintain freshness and availability.
• Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation to reduce waste and maintain product quality.
• Regularly inspect products for expiration dates and condition, removing damaged items to uphold food safety standards.
• Ensure all signage and pricing are accurate and visible to support smooth checkout operations.
