Job summary

Flora Food Group is seeking an on-site Automation Engineer for its Hugoton, Kansas facility to own the automation landscape, ensuring reliable production of dairy products. You will program Rockwell PLCs and HMIs, lead capital automation projects, and keep systems secure and well-documented.

You will collaborate with operations and global engineering teams to drive uptime, implement preventive maintenance, and support continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in Rockwell Automation PLC and HMI programming.
• Experience with server virtualization and industrial networking preferred.
• Experience leading automation projects in food or dairy environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems on Rockwell platform.
• Lead automation capital projects from design through commissioning.
• Manage server virtualization and industrial network infrastructure for stability and security.
• Troubleshoot automation faults to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and documentation for automation assets.
