Job summary

Mollie Stone’s Markets is seeking a Full-Time Step-up Head Clerk at our Tower location in San Francisco. The role oversees daily dairy operations, including receiving, stocking, rotation, merchandising, cleanliness, and customer service, with potential duties as Dairy Manager or Grocery Clerk depending on needs.

Key responsibilities include supervising staff in absence of store leadership, ensuring security and proper closing, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering outstanding

Qualifications

• Experience in grocery and at least one year in a management role.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate others.
• Cash handling experience.
• Good written and oral communication.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages the store and supervises employees in absence of store leadership.
• Ensures security and daily close.
• Delivers exceptional customer service and achieves operational goals.
• Completes supervisory paperwork timely.
• Oversees processing and stocking of new shipments.
• Handles emergencies and customer complaints.
• Processes sales at register.
• Acts as a key holder.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
