Mollie Stone’s Markets in San Rafael is seeking a Full-Time Head Clerk to oversee the dairy department operations, including receiving, stocking, FIFO rotation, merchandising and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior grocery retail or dairy department experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and tolerate cold environments.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize dairy cases with FIFO rotation and proper stocking.
• Receive and inspect dairy deliveries and report issues.
• Ensure proper storage and temperature logs for refrigerated products.
• Maintain department cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist customers and handle inquiries with professionalism.
• Supervise and schedule Team Members; train and develop staff.
• Manage inventory and pricing to meet margins and labor targets.
