Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Dairy Manager to oversee the Dairy Department, drive sales, and manage staff and operations. You will lead merchandising, inventory control, pricing, and health/safety compliance while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store setting.

The role requires 18+ years old with 2+ years in retail grocery, strong communication, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Good communication skills; ability to give and take direction in a team environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Ability to handle phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and ensure sanitation in the department.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and related equipment.
• Stand for long periods and handle physical tasks as required by the role.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory requirements including Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the Dairy Department to maximize sales and profits.
• Coach and evaluate team members; participate in performance reviews and staffing decisions.
• Ensure proper stock levels, rotation, pricing, and inventory control.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain high presentation standards.
• Attend in-store meetings and communicate policies and product knowledge to staff.
