Kroger Co. Milford Dairy department is seeking a team member to create an outstanding customer experience by delivering friendly service and maintaining a safe, clean environment. You will assist the department manager in achieving sales and quality standards while upholding the Customer 1st strategy.

You will gain product knowledge, answer questions, offer samples, manage dairy specials, ensure freshness, and support for minors or customers with special needs in a fast-paced store.

Formación

• Retail experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to speak/read/write a second language.
• Capable of handling stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).

Responsabilidades

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create a welcoming environment and answer questions about products.
• Learn products in department and respond to inquiries.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover items.
• Inform customers of dairy specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products.
• Recommend dairy items to meet customer needs.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude.
• Stay current with ads.
• Adhere to food safety regulations.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and identify unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and report needed repairs.
• Notify management of accidents.
• Report safety risks, theft, or fraud.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
