Job summary

Empowering Abilities in Davenport, IA is seeking a Daily Discovery Mentor to guide and supervise activities for individuals and groups in our program. You will also provide personal care when needed and help participants achieve everyday goals in a supportive environment with no weekends or holidays.

Starting wage is $15.00 per hour. Schedule is 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, with opportunities to contribute to a positive, inclusive community while supporting participants’ growth and

Daily Discovery Mentor

As a Daily Discovery Mentor, you will be responsible for guiding and supervising activities for individual and group programming. This position also includes providing personal care to individuals when needed. You will help participants achieve their everyday goals in a fun and supportive work environment with no weekends or holidays.

Starting wage: $15.00/hr

Schedule: 7:30am-4pm Monday-Friday

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Treats everyone with dignity and respect*
• Develop and implement functional, age-appropriate, skill building activities*
• Maintain records of each participant’s goals, progress, and services provided*
• Assist participants with personal care, hygiene needs, and eating as needed*
• Drive agency and/or personal vehicle for community integration activities*
