Job summary

Empowering Abilities in Davenport, IA is seeking a Daily Discovery Mentor to guide and supervise activities for individuals and groups in our program. You will also provide personal care when needed and help participants achieve everyday goals in a supportive environment with no weekends or holidays.

Starting wage is $15.00 per hour. Schedule is 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, with opportunities to contribute to a positive, inclusive community while supporting participants’ growth and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Guide and supervise activities for individual and group programming
• Provide personal care to individuals when needed
• Help participants achieve everyday goals in a fun and supportive work environment with no weekends or holidays
• Maintain records of each participant’s goals, progress, and services provided
• Drive agency and/or personal vehicle for community integration activities
