Job summary

Girard's Foodservice Dressings is seeking a Wastewater DAF Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain the Dissolved Air Flotation system and related equipment, ensuring compliant removal of solids, oils, and contaminants from industrial wastewater streams.

The role supports environmental compliance, plant efficiency, and safe discharge by performing sampling, chemical dosing, equipment inspections, and routine system maintenance.

Qualifications

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on pumps, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Perform laboratory tests and interpret results for process control.
• Learn and operate DAF system, chemical dosing, and solids-separation processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor DAF systems to separate solids, oils, and grease.
• Inspect DAF units, pumps, valves, screens and related machinery.
• Follow schedules for daily cleaning and operational checks of the DAF system.
