Job summary

Odem-Edroy ISD's Odem High School in Odem, Texas is seeking a DAEP/ISS Teacher/Coach to provide core instruction and coach student athletes for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or training.
• AED, CPR and First Aid certifications current.
• Commercial driver’s license with P and S endorsements.
• Demonstrated coaching knowledge and UIL familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Use diverse instructional strategies and assess student progress.
• Collaborate with staff and IEP teams for inclusive education.
• Lead extracurricular activities and sponsor approved programs.
• Maintain records and communicate with parents and community.
